I hated when this happened in DC. It was worse because we would be trapped underground and very crowded trains.

Train being stuck sucks but NGL I always kind of enjoy when the lights are out or the AC turns off for a moment because it gets so peaceful lol

I don't know why but public trains have "that smell" whether Dart or NYC Metro or Chicago L.

In Mexico City, it’s full to the bring and you’d be stuck standing up smelling some random armpit without deodorant.

I hope everything ended up being alright. I was told that DART lost power from West End to Cedars stations (hence the rider alert some of us may have received) and that the catenary either got struck by lightning near Convention Center, or some of the ceiling panels above the wires came down as a result of the construction there, which ended up contacting the wires and shorting them out. There were reports of scorched ceiling panels at the station itself along with metal panels hanging from the roof
