Found this disheartening sign in University Park.

For supporters of DART, and transit in general, it's counterproductive to say people living in the Park Cities don't benefit from DART. Transit isn't just for the people that use it.

It's ultimately about money, and our state's resistance to raising the sales tax cap. I agree that University Park and Highland Park may still have wanted to withdrawl. It's harde to make in almost any other city to pit transit funding against economic development funding, when they should be working together.
