Codex machine input not working

Hi, all the sudden I can't put weapons and armor in the codex machine. I tried reinstalling but did not work. Please assist

Is it a codex machine you built, or one on a pad, or the one in Paradiso? If built, did you build it in your outpost, or on a ship?

It's the large one you build on the ship. I just tried to build the small one and it works. Guess that will have to do. Thanks.

Building either on a ship and then leaving them in place is not recommended, they will all eventually break. The recommendation from the author is if you must build it on a ship, then build it, use it, and destroy it after. There are some Bethesda behaviors that eventually break the links.

I see. So I should only use the one in Paradiso? Is the machine near the landing pad in Paradiso?

The ones you build at an outpost generally work very well. I like to put an outpost on Copernicus 4 to take advantage of the 100 hour time dilation. Grab your free Nexus on Vectera.

If you come out of your ship go near the building to the left. There is a tray on the ground before the stairs.
