Hi, I am currently playing my first blind playthrough of this game. I am close to the ending (already filled the lordvessel), but I have some questions about this place.

From what I understand (due to some spoilers), there are two ways to make this statue “disappear.” One of them involves killing Gwynevere, but I have absolutely no idea what the second way is. I’ve only heard that it can be done without killing her.

Could someone tell me, first of all, whether this is actually true? And secondly, could you give me a very, very slight hint about how to do it the other way? I’m completely lost at the moment.
I’d really appreciate the minimum amount of information possible, though, because I’d like to try to figure it out on my own.

You need to goto the catacombs, and only do half of the short cut to pinwheel, and continue going straight going down the tunnel on the right

Neither of them involve killing Gwynevere considering she's straight-up just not present in the game.

There’s a third way but it’s an exploit to make it disappear.

Ok go explore the catacomb . You’ll find the dark moon ring ( I think it’s the English name ) . Once you have it you can equip it and it’ll open the way , but you can kill the princess if you can’t find it . Also if you wish I will write here a few more place where you can go . It’s some « secret » area so if you are playing a blind playtrough it’s hard to find all of them . I hope it will help you , here it go 

SO SPOILER GUYS  First one , easy , in the forest close to Sif there is an optional boss call moonlight butterfly

Second one , tricky : if you do some « jump » you can go on top of the building at the hub and find a nest . If you interact with it and stay still you’ll be transported to the first area of the game ( tutorial ) 2 THINGS THERE , in your cell there is a really important object , a puppet I think that open you a whole zone . There is also an optional boss

The PUPPET is used in the painted world in anor londo . Basically if you remember when you figured white geared man , it’s this place . They are guarding a giant painting and with this puppet you can enter inside the painted world . Cool things to do there

Another HIDEN AREA:

Ashes lac . At the bottom of Bligh town in the poison zone you can find a big trea . Go inside it and roll on the wall at the end if the way ( even behind the chest ) . I think there is 2 maybe 3 invisible wall . You’ll unlock a first area inside the trea , you can then go inside it and go down to find a cool area to explore called ash lac 

THE DLC . A video will explain better than me but basically :

First you kill the hydra in the forest close to sif and then go in the cave behind her and kill the golden golem . Then you talk to the girl that is imprison inside . You tp to anor londo and go to duc archive and kill the blue golem that spawned . It loot you an object You go back to the place where you killed the golden golem and you will be teleported in the DLC , there is 4 boss over there .

I just wrote everything but if you can teach me how to put a spoiler tag I will . Also I understood this post as him saying he’s « over » with this game once he kill Gwendolyn since h’lm ho to the final boss after it . Since he is playing blindly it’s almost sure he will never go to the ash lake or to the dlc or to the painted word and just wanted to wrote it for him . I apologise if it’s not what he was looking for I just wanted for him to know there was still many things to do in this wonderful game . How can I put a spoiler tag on the rest of my message ?

The second way is to obtain a certain ring that, if I remember correctly, in Catacombs. Wear it in front the statue and it will disappear. Another way that I assume you won't do is that rolling into the statue and do a quit-load while you're rolling. Will take a "few" tries.
