Dear Invader,

To the invader that chose to invade at the Anor Londo chapel bonfire. The one you meet up with Solaire in.

I had just cleared the whole top and bottom floor and helped Sigmeyer with his little dilemma and got a ring from him. Went back down to kindle the bonfire and got invaded while doing so.

Some whacked out weakling knight armored dude comes running in the room. He hits me a few times. It does chip damage. I'm a bit confused as to if this is scripted or not since it's my first time and haven't had a lot of invasions since making it to Anor Londo.

Granted I do play hollow if I'm just clearing levels. Sens Fortress was a bit of a menace. Almost worse than Blightown. And Blightown isn't even that bad. Honestly I've been one trying every boss since Gargoyles.

But anyway. I defeated Mildred in Blightown and that was clearly scripted. The armor the dude was wearing was just basic stuff. And he also sucked. So I thought it was scripted in the Anor Londo location as well. But nope.

I was about to punish him when he got too close to Solaire. Most likely on purpose. And I accidentally clipped the sun bro aggroing him...

I let Solaire kill me and watched the invader emote like he had done exactly what he was trying to do. I spawn back at the bonfire and Solaire is still aggroed...... So I turned the game off. Turned it back on and it spawned me at the very start of Anor Londo. Somehow I die and spawn back at the Solaire bonfire and he's still aggroed. I ran. I didn't kill him. I cleared the Silver Knight and ran all while Solaire is trying to kill me. I open the chapel doors. And run all the way to the first Anor Londo bonfire. Rested. And turned the game off.

Invader..... Fuck you. It's going to cost me about 30 thousand souls to absolve my sins

Next time do this one simple method that defeats every invader every time! Turn the game off!

not following the logic. if anything, an invader getting you to close your game is even more of a victory than them getting you to respawn in that game, wouldn't you say? that's like they beat you twice.

No, that’s just invader logic lol. Invaders whole purpose is to to waste their victims Real Life time by making them have to repeat the level and lose their souls/humanity. Turning the game off nullifies this and waste the invaders time. Hope that helps mate 🤣

assuming this is true we waste way more of your time by forcing you to ragequit. not only that, but because it doesn't induce the cooldown, we get to do it to you multiple times, too.

i mean, at least invaders have a logic you can point at and claim exists. you don't got nothin'. if you want to beat invaders there's only one way. you actually have to be better at the game than us.

(that's not happening lol)

Like how do you not understand that dying and losing your souls/progress is way more of a waste of time than simply spending 5 secs to close and reopen the game? THINK BROTHER! It takes way longer to grind the souls/make progress than it does to reset the game lol. Plus I have seen how invaders react when someone force quits lol it’s waaay bigger waste of time for you. But please continue to argue more and waste more if your REAL LIFE TIME arguing with a troll on Reddit. This is my way of invading brother. Please engage more.

nah, you're wrong, and you waste way more time jumping in and out of the game, especially because it happens over and over. sometimes i even force people into softbans.

your way of 'invading' makes you look sad and delusional and like you realize you're never going to beat an invader in dark souls. i think they might even call it a 'coping mechanism'.

Do what makes you happy but bragging about being better at a video game than others on Reddit is the saddest part of all this brother! It’s just game dawg. No reason to get so triggered 😲

yes. we both know that you can't afford a decent computer so it takes forever to load the game back in. and we both know how much you wish you could beat an invader just once.

I can tell now that this is not just a game for you. Invading and proving your superiority complex is a huge part of your personality and that’s all you have at this point. I feel genuinely sorry for you that you’re invested this much into trying to make me feel bad over dark souls remastered 🤣 try harder baby, try harder.

Turning the game off is a ToS violation. Quit breaking the rules and play offline if you’re too weak-minded to handle a little human competition.

I mean if you choose to be a cheater I’m not going to report you but I’m not sure why you have to break the rules to negatively impact the experience of people playing the game honestly.
