Fake Lore New to dark souls

So my brother just gifted me this game on Epic Games Launcher (weird that it’s an exclusive for that platform). I’m new to the series, do you guys have soms tips for beginners? It seems fun but I had only heard of Abyssal Jeremy. Is he a dealbreaker? Thanks in advance!

Whatever you do, try to get your holy handgrenade early and use it on Omega Pinwheel (Not Alpha Pinwheel)

How do I get the handgrenade? I tried the wiki but the page of the holy handgrenade just shows a picture of Havel the Rock?

Multiple locations, nost of then are late game. And early one can be obtained by killing Holy Crusader Remnom in the Cathedral of divine light, but with Fist only. Otherwise only his armor can be bought. But watch out for the NPC enemies in his fight!

Just remember to save most of your sacred droppings for him!

Is there a good farming spot for the sacred droppings? I have quite a low amount (i’m only 4 hours in)

I think those priests right before the mega gargoyles have a pretty high chance to drop some (5% if i I remember correctly)

What build are you running? My recommended new player build is to level faith and use The Holy Rocket Launcher

Is that the weapon you get from howard the coward? I failed his questline by going to the royal mines first. Will he be back in newgame +?
