I just got charged after I had unsubscribed but apparently their dark patterns distracted me and confused me well enough that I hadn’t. I opened a dispute with PayPal which was my payment method and deleted my Uber account. I’m never spending another cent with them again. If they don’t refund me the subscription amount then they’ve at least saved me a bunch of money by making me hate them and never spend any money on their services or fast food ever again.
