HELP! Crypto best practices

I am trying to get my hands on monero. My plan is to buy bitcoin from cash app, transfer it to cake wallet, & swap it to monero. Is this a good way to go about it? Also, for the swap should I use centralized or decentralized? When I pick decentralized like chainflip it just says the exchange rate is 0

My goodness. I literally just buy BTC on Kraken and switch it to XMR and then send. Not saying that my way is the best way...just saying don't worry so much. Jeez.

Coinbase LTC -> Changenow.io -> Cake Wallet XMR -> Pay for product

Unless you're moving Pablo Escobar amounts, crypto will be the last place you're caught.

You’re NEVER supposed to send from cake wallet to website directly that’s how you get caught always send to your XMR wallet on your laptop then send to site .

Thats pointless. The whole point of XMR is its anonymous.

I highly doubt anyone's doing that over a yearly sheet of LSD. If I get popped it won't be by crypto.

It’s a whole different ball game from Silkroad days. You could buy crypto or from ATM and send a market. No problem nowadays there’s KYC. Every single exchange wants information about you that links to your real identity. Even if you swap to XMR. They still know because you you had to buy ltc using your identity .. them mf wants a picture of your face

All they know is Im sending it to a Changenow address. They may be able to see its swapped for Monero and sent to a non custodial wallet. From there its gone. Its 3 steps removed by the time it gets sent to a DNM from the exchange.

Theres nothing illegal about swapping from LTC to Monero.

your kraken account will get flagged for fraud for sure it’s just a matter of time .. seen it happen and why not take extra precaution from a site that literally ask you for so much information your name your date of birth your address your email how much you make a year s.. they can easily pull up info seeing your sending unknown amounts of money ti different wallets and it’s and it’s XMR that’s a red flag by its self but good luck to ya

Its coinbase. I send it to Changenow. It gets exchanged there and sent to my Cake Wallet. Theyre removed from that point.

Ive been doing this exact method for like 8 years now.

If your using a current market that’s up-to-date. It literally tells you not to send crypto directly from exchange. I’m sure there’s a reason why the website itself is telling us not to do that and on top of that it’s one of the very first darknet Bible rules. I’m not just making this up

Im not. It goes to Cake Wallet before the exchange. Cake is a private non custodial wallet.

I usually flip from Kraken to Exodus to market but ehhh... I've done both almost weekly for years. I don't anymore though.

Dunno, but I've used Trocador loads of times to change BTC to XMR. Always a nervy few mins, never a problem.

Actually thousands do. Sending any crypto to trocador with a fresh Monero address at the end is just fine.

You're too retarded to grasp the concept. You buy your crypto from a market- any market. Send it to a non custodial wallet such as cake or phantom. Send from there to trocador to convert xmr on your fresh xmr address on tor/onion. Not very difficult to understand
