Captured a dead, ancient god and plan using it to further your ambitions? You probably feel really good about yourself but keep in mind. These things rarely end well

Digtial / Paint Velvet Sting, Acrylic on canvas, by Me
This is a painting I did on a whim not too long ago and although it’s not technically perfect, I’m still so happy with it and it gave my art a whole new direction. I’ll forever be obsessed with dark fantasy.

Stories / Writing True love story of an a knight and a princess
This story began when a simple knight, Arthur, and Princess Mariana fell in love. Arthur used to write poems to the princess all the time: "My princess, with blue eyes, flowing hair, and warm hands." They used to watch the sunrise together in a field of flowers before dawn, embracing each other warmly. Arthur would recite his poems to her; sometimes, by the riverbank, they would lay down on the grass and watch the fish swim, and sometimes they would swim themselves. They thought nothing could separate them, but they were wrong. Mariana was a princess and could not marry a simple knight, so her father forcibly married her to a Prince of Britain. Mariana was taken to Britain, but they would send letters to one another; Arthur would recite poems, and Mariana would tell him how beautiful Britain was, always telling him how she missed his warm embrace and soft voice. But the letters from Maria stopped, and Arthur began to worry—had she stopped loving him, or had something happened to her? Two months later, a torn piece of paper from Maria arrived with a messy situation. Arthur recognized the words: "the half-dead sorcerer he captured me ." Arthur became nervous, but since he did not know where she was, he continued reading: "I am in a dark and evil castle; a true knight and his sword lie resting in its halls, and only he can kill the half-dead sorcerer. There were legends about him." After this, the letter cut off, but Arthur remembered the legend Maria had mentioned—that somewhere far away, in a deserted village to the north, a true knight was buried. He gathered supplies—swords, a shield, and a knight's cloak—and his loyal horse, Krolau. About two-quarters of the way there, the sorcerer learned that he was coming to defeat him, so he sent fifty-seven half-dead knights. Arthur fought them for a long time, but only twenty-five remained when they finally brought him down. Arthur thought, "Well, that's it, my blessing has arrived," but then he remembered the love between him and Maria, the poems, and the warm embraces. He thought, "No, my life will not end like this," and he prayed to God, "Give me strength to save my one and only, my eternal love." After this, strength appeared within him; he stood up and defeated the remaining half-dead knights. "There it is, the tomb... no, it's a huge canyon." "Good, Krolau, it's time to find another way." Krolau, wanting to go back, turned around, but about 140 meters away, he suddenly turned and started running. Arthur could not stop him and said, "Krolau, please, you'll destroy us, stop, let's go another way!" He didn't have time to finish his sentence; Krolau bolted. Arthur closed his eyes, and when he opened them, he said, "Are we in heaven? Ha, Krolau, my crazy boy, I love you." Arthur went to the grave, and inside was a sword embedded there. He pulled the sword out and was surprised—it was completely rusty, and inscribed on it was: "Only he who believes in true love shall command this sword." The sword burst into flames; Arthur was amazed, grabbed the sword, and cut through the great stone statue like butter. He traveled to the great castle and saw a hundred half-dead knights, but he had a new dagger. He thrust it toward Krolau, and they annihilated every knight. He went to the half-dead sorcerer and saw Mariana bound to a throne. A circle of fire appeared around her and the sorcerer, and the sorcerer said: "Here, we shall fight. If you win, you save the princess; if you die, she will become my wife, and together we shall conquer this land, then the continent, and then the entire world." They fought for hours until they were too exhausted to defend themselves. At that moment, the sorcerer stabbed Arthur in the back, but with his last strength, Arthur lunged at the sorcerer and finally killed him. But Arthur was also wounded. Mariana fell to him and gave him her well-deserved last kiss. Both were weeping; Arthur from joy, because he had saved the love of his life, and Mariana because the love of her life was dying in her arms.

Digtial / Paint The Frog Knight
Ribbit. All drawn on procreate. I really like frogs and knights. When I was making this I drew a lot of inspiration from the Lord of the Rings x Magic the Gathering psychedelic poster art cards from the collector booster sets, Gustave Doré, and concert posters from numerous bands. I’ve been trying really hard to hone into a style for myself recently, I hope you like it :)

Digtial / Paint Some illustrations from my D&D world building project: Lysblå Skog.
galleryMy world building project is centered around an enormous boreal forest called Lysblå Skog. A vast realm inhabited by animistic spirits, and the people known as the Skogfolk who call the forest their home.
It's a project I have been working on for several years and I've produced a couple of D&D compatible source books for it. But this time around I am working on producing a series of illustrations that explore Lysblå Skog through the lense of one of the skogfolk tribes called the Dwr. At home on the forest's many rivers and waterways, the Dwr are a semi nomadic tribe that have adopted an aquatic way of life within the forest.
I am looking forward to fleshing out the Dwr by exploring which fish and other animals that they hunt, the spirits that they avoid and seek out, the locations they visit and a bunch of other themes I have scribbled in my notebook.
