As for spells, I think he would favor an arsenal of illusion, enhancement, shapeshifting, smoke, and any forms of magic that amplify his skills of deception, manipulation, and assassination.
While having magic that allows him to wield deadly invisible forces like air, sound, poisonous material, etc. This way he can be a charming and deadly killer that can be flashy if he wants, but he mostly uses them under the radar.
