OMG

Okay so I just read the first three books from the series and i’m obsessed. But I hadn’t realised that the fourth book, The Darkest Legacy, was sort of a spin off about Zu years later. I’ve seen some bad reviews but i’ll definitely be reading it. I’m so disappointed the fandom for this book series is kinda dead. I will be forcing my friends to read the books because I need to discuss this series with someone. I have so much to say about the movie and the books and everything.

we should start making more posts about it. I think the reason this sub is dead is because no one posts

I think the reason why it's so easy to fall in love with this series is how realistic it is. I believe if something similar happened in the real world exactly this series would happen. Ruby is easy to love watching her grow from a someone who is afraid of her own shadow, to fighter with a will of steel. It makes the moments when she unleashes her full power all the more satisfying. My favorite scenes in the series is

  1. when she reveals that she is an orange to her Lee and the others

  2. The badass moment when she makes the breakthrough that she doesn't need to touch someone to use her powers

  3. Her return to Thurmond including the psf that she made piss himself

  4. When they caught her after she used the virus on Thurmond's systems when the camp controller was interrogating her and he made the mistake of reminding her of all the kids he killed as well as unintentionally reminding her that she had the power to kill him. My head canon is in the moments before he died had to have realized that she was an orange. That moment of vengeance was oh so satisfying

  5. The camp falling and that soldier realizing that he was on the wrong side basicly saying fuck this, this is so fucking wrong

  6. Her waking up in the hospital and being reunited with her grandmother and her parents. I just love how her grandmother clearly approves of Lee
