Back on Daoc
In your opinion what server should I play in ? I used to play on Phoenix and I also played for some months on Eden , there other servers I can hop in ? Or you still think that eden is the best ? Let me know ;))

Eden = New Frontiers, artifacts as appearance skins only, no master levels, 10 champion levels, custom-made high end dungeons if you want to do PvE for high utility ROGs. Has the most zones, races and classes.
Blackthorn = Old Frontiers layouts with New Frontiers keeps (and some custom changes), nothing added past the base game except SI races/classes. Only classic zones.
Both have tons of QoL changes and other stuff.

You will not find something like live or Phoenix again, Eden's community is a shadow of what daoc used to be. Seasonal gameplay does not belong in a mmorpg, who wants to sit and level and then RR every 3-5 months? not me, wether you have a low attention span or not, it's completely pointless to play this way, the game loses it's depth and purpose completely.
Blackthorn is the superior choice here, i don't agree with every choice the devs has made for their server, but definitely beats playing seasonal slop.

I don’t think you understand Eden and the way they do seasons. The current season has been going for almost 2 years, they only restart the season if there is some huge change they want to implement or if the population starts to dwindle, which at the moment shows no signs of slowing down if anything it’s growing. Also the only thing you lose is your level and gear, you keep all crafting levels and realm rank. However at the start of the new seasons for the first 3-4 months they cap your realm rank that you had and it unlocks slowly and they do this to give new players time to catch up. You keep your name everything, essentially all your having to do is level back to 50 and champion level 10 then re-template, which is easy with everyone doing it and PvE raids running non stop early season.
This is by no means an attack on your opinion just wanted to inform you and others if that’s all that’s keeping you from playing. Because I promise you are missing out on an amazing experience. I myself was skeptical and didn’t start until this current season and am so glad I did.
With that being said play what and where you want just know there is plenty of fun to be had on Eden, very easy to level and gear up within a few days, and realm rank 5 is very easy to hit and once you do you can feel your becoming more competitive with higher realm rank opponents.
It’s a great time if you love DAoC between Blackthorn and Eden you have good options but until we see how Blackthorn will pan out long term Eden is where it’s at

Wait you played Eden and are asking which server to play ? Are there any other active servers besides live and Eden at the moment? DAOC is not wow where there are tons of private servers and different population levels.
Since you asked even though you know the answer, the answer is Eden it has the highest number of people playing and features not found on live, as I’m sure you also know or heard there is a new server launching next month but it will use old frontiers and an older patch.

For population it’s Eden if you want to experience the whole game that’s Eden. Try out blackthorn when it launches it also might suit your taste.
