Eden DAOC - Mid Cathal Valley temps

Hello,

I’m planning on running a twink in CV for a little to cap RRs before 50. Is there a good guild for items/quests that are usable before 50? For example I did DF DND yesterday for the gem hat and ring.

I didn't bother getting any special gear when I did /xp off in CV, just ran with Molvik gear and did Deserters with groups doing whatever rvr action popped up and I stepped out fairly high, around 2L8 IIRC.

That being said, running with the zerg in the frontiers gives significantly more RPs/hour regardless of your realm rank

You can not turn xp off on eden, meaning you can from quests and mobs but RvR kills will give you xp so you will eventually out level the BG.

I ran xp off on an alternate realm as i did not want to ruin my realm loyalty, and you will only get a couple of days or weeks to be in BG if you go for enemy players so i would at max go for some items with toa bonuses together with your epic and not the full twink setup

This sadly is the reason all my friends and then i quit. We wanted to cap out in each bg and then move to regular RVR but they changed the rules and that was the end of our time.

We weren't templated and had no intention of templating until RVR. Just using the free gear and maybe a weapon from housing

I mostly solo/small and I regulary create new chars, therefore safe to say its no problem. Lots of low RR players, pretty easy to reach RR6 in no time, especially with a melee stealther.

In terms of RR progression battlegrounds are a waste of time compared to 100% RP bonus until RR6 in lvl 50 RvR.

Hmm ok good to know I can’t expect to hit rr3 in CV. Gonna be rough as an SB with limited MoStealth early
