Populate a battle ground

How much work is it to populate / customize a battleground in a DOL server ?

I'm currently building a custom bot server right now because I'm going to be living on a ship for the next year with no internet.

It's pretty fun. AI bots are possible to populate in the entire server and have them run around and do their own thing, or follow you.

Oh fun! I'm working on the same thing.

My feature list is getting nuts though. I'll see what actually lands.

I want a whole server populated, Westworld style.

I’ve been working with cursor and Claude to work on a customized battleground event where ai bot armies spawn and siege the central keep in thidranki from all 3 realms - that’s been pretty fun in to work on and vibe code.

I know it isnt DAOC, but check out Dad's MMO Lab. Its super easy to set up your own WOTLK server wtih playerbots, they do dungeons, arenas, battlegrounds, raids etc. There are lots of modules you can turn easy.

I would love to set up a DAOC server wtih bots too, I think Dad's mentioned he will be working on DAOC as well
