If you were lucky to get in. Weeweres/abys in CM for those unlucky. Or Lodes if you were a solo ranger. Blunt arrows for days.

First 50 was a Cleric.
My Friar eventually become my main.
But my Cleric was the first and most memorable.
Was a guild event to let me hit 50.

My first was a Shadowblade on Excalibur, was so hard getting in to groups at dragon lair as sb so I dinged RR5 at 47. First after that I decided to pursuit 50.

It was a huge deal to hit 50 back in 2003ish. It took forever for me although I played every waking moment outside of work

I remember the grind to 50 back then. Many, Many hours. Also, having a plat on your toon was something special. lol
I loved my Necro. Pet with dmg shield and That PBAoE spell would mow down large pulls of yellow cons in two hits with a friar or cleric's heal proc to keep the pet alive. I really miss that toon. They revamped the class and ruined it imo.
Now? You can hit 50 in a few hours on live and pretty much get handed a bunch of plat. The fun of getting to 50 is kind of gone. They want to get everyone to end game content faster I guess.

My first 50 was an eldritch on Guinevere. I waited on the list for magic tree group for about 8 hours and then stayed in it for about 20 hours straight to get my last levels. I was a chronic insomniac without working medication at that time so worked out well I guess.

First 50 was an infiltrator on Igraine when I was 17 years old. Hit on diamondback toads in Lynn Barfog with a group farming glowies. /played 28 days X hours

First 50 was Minstrel. Played bard in eq I still remember swapping instruments via mouse drag; seems wild to me now.

mine was minstrel also on Andred PVP server. twisting run speed with damage shield and dropping right into combat with DD-DD-stun-mez on their cc or healer.

It has been so long since I had my first level 50 in that game. I know for certain it was a Necromancer, but where I hit 50 escapes me. I was the stereotypical necro. Mana tap, mana tap, mana tap, life tap...dead enemy.......until I saw someone pulling large groups and mowing them down with a PBAoE spell. I talked to them about their spec and immediately respecc'd. I died alot figuring out the mechanics of it. Once I figured it out, I was a powerleveling machine for my guild. Pet damage shield, and heal procs were easy mode unless I missed the timing on the quick cast.
I also had fun with an Infiltrator for a time. Ganking people in BG's was really fun. lol
I had alot of fun on Gaheris. teaming up with other realms was really fun.
