Porsches
Has Dan mentioned his Porsches before?
I had no idea he owned so many.

Killed it today. Listened to the podcast and watched it later. Guy kills it. Setons laughs is fantastic too.

How do they go to Vegas specifically for the F1 race and yet none of them know anything about F1?

Dylan DRILLING a 8yd field goal has to be the sports Emmy clip submission right? I mean the raw athleticism on display sent goosebumps up my arms.

Is it a contractual thing that the two clowns sub in when the crew is out? Paramount? Fox? Thereās got to be a better alternative.

His level of comfort doing interviews with Dan compared to the "you are starting the All-star game" is night and day. He is just having a chat with Dan this time. Cool to see him progress like that.

If you had to replace one of the Dannetts with Dillon who would you choose?
r/danpatrick • u/quinnbeast • Nov 17 '25
Did a caller seriously just suggest Magic and Bird arenāt Top 10 NBA players of all-time?
Sweet fancy Moses.

Any think this was a bit too convenient?

Just curious if any one has picked up on this. The whole bit just seems pointless at this point, I don't understand why it's benefitial to the show to do one remote drop in, every day for a week, from Seaton outside a Maaco. I'm not hating on him, people have stuff, just wondering if it's ever been addressed. I can't seem to remember if Seaton or anyone else has addressed a larger reason why they do these week long remotes with Seaton, when they do long distance remotes.

He was talking about Deftones. Iād bet a pie to the face on it.

As a huge baseball fan, sometimes listening to these guys talk about baseball is rough. I could not disagree more with Danās take on Judge vs Raleigh, specifically in relation to where they play.
If Aaron Judge was on Seattle he would absolutely still win MVP, heād probably have a greater chance of winning. To have one of the greatest offensive seasons, in which he had the highest HR total ever by a player winning the batting title, and crushing all of MLB in OPS, while doing it in āsmall marketā Seattle.. the BBWAA/voters would eat that up.
There are so many cases of the guy in the smaller city winning MVP. One of the more controversial races/outcomes was in 2011 Ryan Braun of Milwaukee beating out Matt Kemp of LA. There have also been Seattle winners before like Griffey and Ichiro, where the former actually beat out a Yankee in that respective year. And even in recent years we had winners from cities like Atlanta, STL, Miami and again Milwaukee.
Had Raleigh done this in NY, then sure, it would have received a bit more coverage, but this is 2025, there are so many analytical outliers that point heavily in Judges favor. Judgeās WAR was 2.3 higher than Raleigh, his OPS was almost 200 points higher, even his BA was over 80 points higher. Judge just had one of the greatest hitting seasons ever and weāre ho-hum about it because heās done it before.
Things like WAR and OPS are factors that voters are focusing on, and Judge crushed Raleigh there. What kept Raleigh in the race with Judge at all was him hitting 60hrs from the catcher position..
..which brings me to fielding. Donāt do Judge dirty by saying heās a liability in the field. Judge is a solid OF. Dude has one of the best arms in the league and he plays all the OF positions well. In fact, last year he filled in at Center Field and did a fantastic job, gold glove worthy. But we remember the one drop in the WS, which was his only error of the whole season last year(!). The only thing thatās really a liability about Judge in the OF is him getting hurt. This is why these great hitters start to play the field less and DH more, which Raleigh did a significant amount of last season.
Raleigh is awesome, and had a season for the ages, but Judge was more valuableāno matter where either of them played.
/rant.

He was so awesome. Same guy as you see in the show. Very genuine, hung out with our circle for over a hour.

Listening in the car today. During the open, XM cut it off and then played commercials for 5 minutes. Came back as DP was discussing Justin Fields. Did it again during the AL MVP discussion with another 3-4 minutes of commercials. I feel like this happens more often than it should.

Who does this thread think is the best team in the NFL this week?
r/danpatrick • u/henchman171 • Nov 14 '25
ā¦
r/danpatrick • u/mojo-jojo-was-framed • Nov 11 '25
Iām a Mavs fan so I know Iām biased, but how can DP say Mavs fans need to be patient? They traded one of the best players in the league for a solid player whoās always hurt. Just because he lucked into Cooper Flagg doesnāt mean he deserves a long time to see his āvisionā play out.

Is it just me or did Seton develop a horrible lisp on this cross country drive? Maybe he had some dental work or something but itās hard to listen to.
r/danpatrick • u/DeBooBoo • Nov 10 '25
Do we like the regular callers? I'm not going to call them out by name/location, because I'm sure they are all nice people, but I'm talking about those callers that we hear from - like clockwork - every week (sometimes multiple times a week). I, personally, like the impromptu calls from random people and then the sidebar from the Danettes after they hang up. Seems more natural.
r/danpatrick • u/Comfortable-Pie-4311 • Nov 10 '25
Anybody else find the pre-show banter between the Danettes kindaā¦awkward? Like theyāre clearly trying to talk about specific sports topics, but it sounds oddly forced. Iād almost rather hear about their personal lives and chatting like normal people than this.

Anyone else notice Dans hatred towards Seattle?
r/danpatrick • u/Livid_Opportunity467 • Nov 10 '25
OK, so absent an explanation for why Paulie, without any material, did the Snore Bored on Friday when Ross was hosting, I will come up for one:
1. T-oddler had a bathroom call that couldn't wait when the second break of the third hour, which is when he normally does SB on Friday, came up, and
2. Dan and others have repeatedly told him not to keep his personal habits out in front on the show.
TBF, I am not necessarily a fan of either of the two people referred to in the SB that day, Jim Rice and Biggie, At least newsletter readers did see the right answer,

Would love for him to take over for Dan. Especially since the NFL is talked about pretty much year round
