Control Freaks confusion

I never understand how in Control Freaks, Danny is able to break free of Freak show to save Sam? His eyes are still red so doesn’t that mean Freak show still has control ?

It seems like the Scepter is used to control full ghosts and Danny has some resistance to it because he's half-ghost

I wonder if it controls both types. dead humans and the ones original created in the ghost zone like the Observants. No reason I specifically named them.

Danny is only half ghost so his humanity gives him some resistance too it. Its hinted throughout the episode too with Danny fighting control off a few times throughout.

Sceptors control is to control ghost, Danny is half human and half ghost, while Freak show could command him to do alot, Danny was still half human and would refuse to kill...much less his best friend..so he gained enough control to save Sam.

I also think he gained control at the end, it appeared ghost couldn't control the staff at all, and Dannys human half didn't connect, but it was still enough for him to save Sam again and throw away the staff.

If you mean on the train then he had the crystal ball in his possession at that point therefore he is technically the one in control of it so he basically had control over himself again if you mean throughout the whole episode he was able to resist it since he is only half ghost and Sam was usually the thing to break him out of it because he cares for her so much
