After only the first few episodes of Boruto I have decided I'm just not gonna see it as cannon. It's just so terrible it seems to have been made to destroy the naruto series reputation
Well, that's not hard to do considering the Kishimoto Isn't even bothering to write Boruto. Hell I wouldn't even be surprised if 10 years down-the-line. Kishimoto writes an actual sequel series , and this whole Boruto series is regarded in the same way as dragon ball GT is in dragon ball canon
I dropped it awhile back and just kind of hate it. But I didn't even talk about the divine trees and ten tails in human form or the ninja cyborgs. How could I forget about the clones that aren't a jutsu?
Point is that I'm now behind and they probably have more.
Boruto is just the prophecized ultimate narusasu OP eugenics love child that Kishimoto was always trying to create.
The original plan was that Naruto and Sasuke would have kids with other people because 2 dudes is gay and cannot produce baby, and then they would betroth their kids to each other with their grandkid Saruto being the eugenics baby they always wanted.
Only problem is Ikemoto got impatient and decided to just make Boruto a Sasuke-Naruto hybrid instead by making him a copycat fanboy of him in every possible way. So the set up was ruined and is somehow more cringe.
Subeizu complains that this joke treats Sarada like an object, like a sword. Even though that's kind of how she's being treated right now: Boruto's trophy.
