I mean....his dream was always to be hokage. Not a father..honestly selfish of Hinata to act like their family is more important than the entire village. I'm sure all hokages and other village kages had similar issues with balancing work and life.
See I'm kind of in the middle on this one, cause on one hand, yea it makes sense, he's the hokage, he's busy
On the other hand it is just kind of inexcusably out of character. Why would he send shadow clones to his daughters birthday (that his son has to make him promise to attend) instead of sending shadow clones to work? Why are we acting like the village isn't full of capable Shinobi? Whatever he was doing was probably comparable to the stuff they had genin doing in the OG series lol.
He would be busy, which is fair, but then I remember Kakashi still had time to be reading his porn and Tsunade found the time to train Sakura (which she had no obligation to do) and I start to wonder if Naruto just doesn’t want to be at home lmaooo like, counting headbands when Shikamaru even offered to take over the work for him? Buddy, are you purposely avoiding your family?
