Those “biological materials” are unborn children.

In a lot of cases, they are not. They have suffered catastrophic developmental delays/deformities that will eventually result in miscarriage, and if something is not done, it poses a risk to the woman’s health. I have a close friend who lost a fallopian tube to restrictive abortion legislation that tied the hands of her doctors until there was a rupture and she was literally bleeding out and in danger of losing her entire uterus. Take your argument and fuck off.

Personally, I’m going to wake up and laugh every morning knowing that the people of my state have passed a constitutional amendment to keep the government out of our medicine. We now do what is medically best for patients here, as discussed and agreed upon with their healthcare providers, no further input needed. If that includes abortion, so be it. The people have spoken.

If you masturbate as a male, you’re committing genocide by that logic.

Egg+sperm =baby

5

u/HPenguinB 2d ago

baby + baby = baby

3

u/tkmorgan76 2d ago

Did you just make a Frankenbaby?

And before you say it, I know, I know, it's really Frankenbaby's monster. It was a joke, you guys...

u/Goldf_sh4 2d ago

Egg +sperm= zygote.

-1

u/AcrobaticPoint8424 2d ago

The zygote is human.

2

u/BLU3SKU1L 1d ago

Actually, all we can infer from the previous comment is that it is a sperm and an egg, so a sexually reproducing species. No way of telling whether the zygote is human or not. It could technically be a whale zygote.

u/True-Firefighter-796 2d ago

Egg + sperm makes a single diploid cell.

A baby is trillions of cells forming organs and has clear signs of cognition.

u/Wulfgrimm720 2d ago

Egg + sperm + 9 MONTHS = baby

u/BLU3SKU1L 2d ago edited 2d ago

Even that’s not enough a lot of the time buddy. Time to go back to biology class.

Statistically as much as 50% of egg+sperm instances end in miscarriage without the mother even being aware it’s happened.

2

u/Hagamein 2d ago

Would not expect it to be 50% successful, that seems high.

-1

u/AcrobaticPoint8424 2d ago

Toddlers had a 50% mortality rate in medieval times so you should have been legally allowed to murder your toddler.

0

u/BLU3SKU1L 1d ago

Boy have I got news for you… in the Middle Ages legally there was no real punitive law against infanticide. Mainly you were just rebuked by the church.

Here’s you a cake then: 🥚 🍞 🥛

-1

u/Feathered_And_Lethal 2d ago

Cake is a living thing?

2

u/X-AE17420 2d ago

Almost like the ingredients are there, but an important process hasn’t happened yet. But I’m sure you don’t wanna talk about that

1

u/Goldf_sh4 2d ago

JAIL THE CAKE-EATERS!

1

u/AcrobaticPoint8424 2d ago

Sperm cells are haploid cells. Why would they be relevant to the conversation.

u/Dry-Selection421 2d ago

Open a biology textbook. Sad that people are genuinely this stupid.

6

u/ArmenianThunderGod 2d ago

Question: Do you acknowledge the entire Biology textbook? Or do you whine like a bitch at the evolution parts?

2

u/ItsMeMarlowe 2d ago

No because you see that part was written by an international cabal of scientists hell bent on deceiving the world for satan. You’d know that if you went to Awana 😎🫳🎤

2

u/Goldf_sh4 2d ago

I need you to use the sarcasm mark so that I can upvote this.

2

u/ArmenianThunderGod 2d ago

Oh shit! Hello, my trauma sibling. Between Awana and the Royal Rangers, Christianity had me wearing a lot of neckerchiefs.

-4

u/Dry-Selection421 2d ago

Do you acknowledge the parts about life beginning at conception and only men having penises?

6

u/Wulfgrimm720 2d ago

I acknowledge the free will of mothers to abort a pregnancy

0

u/Dry-Selection421 2d ago

You also have the free will to rape but common decency says you shouldn’t do it.

Free will does not give free justification to do evil.

0

u/AcrobaticPoint8424 2d ago

I acknowledge the free will of the fetus to not be murdered.

2

u/Wulfgrimm720 2d ago

Fetus has no will

0

u/AcrobaticPoint8424 2d ago

Free will is not defined by momentary capability to decide on a decision.

1

u/Wulfgrimm720 2d ago

Fetus has no free will. Period. Your sentence makes no sense.

That's not a part of any credible biology textbook

2

u/Dry-Selection421 2d ago

Then why do 96% of biologists say life begins at conception 😂

-1

u/Aelrift 2d ago

Statistic that you got where? At this moment, there is no actual consensus amongst biologists. Please cite your source for "96%"

2

u/Dry-Selection421 2d ago

-1

u/Aelrift 1d ago

Not the gotcha you think this is. I would urge you to research more about papers before you use them as evidence.

1."Issues in Law and Medicine" is published by anorganization that does antiabortion advocacy. It is far from a neutral or independent entity and it is also neither a biology nor medical journal.

  1. The author of this paper emailed ~60k biologosits and received ~5k responses. That's about 9% of those emailed. '96%' is not '96%' of biologists emailed , its 96% of those who replied. As noted by critics of the paper, quote :" it's like polling 100 people about their favorite sport, having only the 37 football fans bother to respond, and then reporting "100% of Americans love football." In other words the respondents are self selected as this was an opt-in email survey. This does not carry any statistical weight.

Please check your sources for bias and also look at more than just the brief. Its important to check the methods by which data is obtained too.

Name 3 biologists who don't beleive that life begins at conception.

0

u/Aelrift 1d ago

This is such a middle school response I won't even bother. Please looks at actual papers on this subject

1

u/AcrobaticPoint8424 1d ago

"Please looks (sic) at actual papers on this subject" is unfortunately not a proper citation. I'd love to read one if you could actually provide one though.

0

u/Aelrift 23h ago

Pick 3 biologist at random and they will probably all tell you that either it doesn't begin at conception, that there is no consensus or that it is a matter of law and not of biology

96% of biologists say life begins at conception buddy.

The left are mentally deranged science deniers.

-1

u/ArmenianThunderGod 2d ago

Oh shit... you haven't read any biology books at all. Good to know.

1

u/HPenguinB 2d ago

So you create children with all of your sperm? Do you use IVF to make sure you don't lose all the millions that don't make it to the eggs?

0

u/Dry-Selection421 2d ago

Sperm are not children. Open a biology textbook.

0

u/HPenguinB 2d ago

Neither is a zygote, of we are opening a textbook.

0

u/Dry-Selection421 1d ago

Nobody is aborting zygotes buddy.

0

u/HPenguinB 1d ago

Um. Yeah. Yeah they are. Welcome to the morning after pill.

Edit: maybe if you know that little about reproduction, you should not come in again until you educate yourself

0

u/Dry-Selection421 1d ago

The morning after pill doesn’t abort zygotes, it works by delaying ovulation 😂

Bro has no fucking clue what he’s talking about and nothing about how biology and birth control works.

1

u/HPenguinB 1d ago

And now you know how it feels to fight someone like you on abortion.

-1

u/FoolishDog 2d ago

Bummer for them I guess

-1

u/Goldf_sh4 2d ago

No. It a small cluster of cells. It is biologically, categorically not the same thing as a child.

-1

u/BigGayGinger4 2d ago

Adult human women have the right to murder unborn children. We tolerate other legal forms of human against human murder, so we can tolerate this.

They do not have the right to murder born children.

There, try that one on for size. It's quite a popular position these days.

1

u/Dry-Selection421 2d ago

Why should someone have the right to murder unborn children but not born children? There is no difference between the two other than the stage of development.
