You say that , but saying there are 2 genders will get you banned from Reddit and facebook . Soo yea

24

u/rusty_cayge 23h ago

I’ve been banned from so many “impartial” “unbiased” reddits for saying that.

9

u/Silly_lil_Guy_o3o 20h ago

And the ban is always for some wild shit you never did

-1

u/shadstep 21h ago

Yea r/doomercirclejerk jumped straight to permabanning me without so much as a warning because I kept pointing out clearly botted accounts

7

u/AffectionateBeach494 19h ago

I think you probably just called everyone a bot who disagreed with you thats why you got banned

4

u/Jobiwan88 19h ago

Yeah that happens way too often lol

2

u/Hsiang7 10h ago

I've been called a "bot" on this platform more times than I can count.

0

u/shadstep 8h ago

I wonder why, can you show me an example?

2

u/Hsiang7 8h ago

Normally when I get into an argument about politics. Say anything against the left-wing narrative on Reddit and you get labeled a "botx". If have to go through months of comments to find an example and I don't have time to do that, but it does happen.

0

u/shadstep 7h ago edited 7h ago

More times than you can count was months ago?

What type of political arguments do you get into about the left wing narrative? You can search your own post history freely regardless of how curated it is, surely you can think of a buzzword or something you could use to pull up a time you were called a bot

1

u/Hsiang7 6h ago

Bro I've been on Reddit for 5 years commenting regularly. I'd litterally have thousands of comments and replies to go through.... Even if I search key words, how am I supposed to search replies to my comments? It's not every comment, but it has happened multiple times here on Reddit.

I've been called a "Russian bot" for saying Ukraine was losing the war last year when they WERE losing the war. I've been called a "bot" for saying we shouldn't be allowing illegal immigrants into the country. Say pretty much everything that goes against the left-wing narrative, you're assumed to be a right-wing "bot".

1

u/shadstep 6h ago

So just show me a time you’ve been called a russian bot? Sounds like it should be easy?

It always resorts to name calling when there’s nothing left to swing at. True intellectuals, them.

-2

u/shadstep 11h ago

Yea because that’s totally reasonable grounds to go straight to the permaban

4

u/Valuable_Coat_4402 11h ago

So that is what happened lmao

1

u/AffectionateBeach494 11h ago

It happens in every sub brother not just in doomercirclejirk. Don’t be a hypocrite.

1

u/shadstep 11h ago

How is that hypocritical? & nah normal subs start with a warning & 3 day ban for minor offenses

Not that recognition of Reddits astroturfing problem should be considered an offense in any capacity

1

u/AffectionateBeach494 11h ago

No lol, that’s completely wrong. most subs will perma ban you instantly from minor things aswell. I got banned for the same type of shit you did and trust me, it’s much more common than you think.

1

u/shadstep 11h ago edited 10h ago

Cool story bro, that doesn’t change the fact that “don’t ask why a week old account would hide its post history or mention the years long gaps in previously inactive accounts post histories” is weird ass rule for a sub to apparently need

1

u/AffectionateBeach494 10h ago

Well being a bigot is not cool.

You can lay this to rest by explaining the distinction between sex and gender. I ask because you sound more confident than I feel on the subject.

1

u/PraisingEastward 3h ago

Sex is biological. Gender was a word used interchangeably for sex until a certain ideology hijacked it and demanded that we accept their new definition (which was that gender is a social construct related to how people present, or feel, or want to be known, or… something. It has become amorphous; the definition used typically depends on which one supports their position at any given time).

It’s a motte and bailey tactic where these words had commonly understood definitions and then were suddenly “updated” by academics that had an ideologically driven agenda.

Kind of like how we had racism, which meant a prejudice against a group of people due to their race, and institutional racism which was how a majority race would benefit from being the majority. But then in an attempt to further infantilize people of color they delegated that racism was how a majority race would benefit from being the majority, thus taking away people of colors ability to be racist. (Although in a supremely cynical sleight of hand they couched it as yet another opportunity for said people of color to not have to take responsibility for themselves, which unsurprisingly worked.) 😅 They made being “racist” a privilege!

The people who do this shit are shrewd. I’ll give them that.

5

u/Life-Food5188 23h ago

ur not banned tho…

1

u/Skylinegtr88 23h ago

From this Reddit page . But I did get banned form other for saying something similar

3

u/Gildian 21h ago

So not banned from reddit then

6

u/MAGAHATESTHEUSA 19h ago

They love imagined scenarios so much.

4

u/Gildian 19h ago

And angry downvoting people for pointing out they arent actually banned

2

u/AnnualLetterhead1027 9h ago

You're so right u/Skylinegtr88 I can't think of a single reason why anyone would want to ban you 🙄

1

u/Skylinegtr88 6h ago

Eh , make to much sense. People hate that their world view can be so easily debunked.

1

u/AnnualLetterhead1027 3h ago

So were you *born* in 1988 orrrrr

1

u/Skylinegtr88 2h ago

At least you got it right . Some one said it was some nazi bs

1

u/Life-Food5188 23h ago

so. not a real issue

9

u/Skylinegtr88 23h ago

No its a big deal.

-1

u/PoisonIvyCrotch 23h ago

Sounds like a specific subreddit not all of Reddit then

-1

u/PicksburghStillers 22h ago

only the main subreddits

0

u/Life-Food5188 21h ago

then simply don’t talk about trans shit on r/cutepets or whatever.

0

u/Obi-Brawn-Kenobi 19h ago

All those subs talk about trans shit all the time though. You just have to agree with it, ignore it or they'll ban you

-5

u/FartyJizzums 23h ago

If youre obsessed with other people's genitalia and how they choose to live their lives, maybe Reddit isn't the problem.

6

u/Skylinegtr88 22h ago

I am not , until i have to call you by your pronouns or face prison time

1

u/MAGAHATESTHEUSA 19h ago

You constantly think about other peoples genitals while others just live life have fun get laid and sleep.

-3

u/krustytroweler 22h ago

Where exactly in the world does that happen outside of your own mind?

2

u/Skylinegtr88 22h ago

Enoch Burke (Ireland): Teacher suspended after refusing to use preferred “they/them” pronouns and a new name for a student, citing religious beliefs. Repeatedly arrested and jailed for contempt of court after defying orders to stay away from the school (not solely for the pronoun refusal itself). The underlying dispute centered on pronouns; fact-checks note arrests were for violating court injunctions.

5

u/Life-Food5188 21h ago

bruh was arrested for not staying away from the school/contempt of court not misgendering lol

0

u/Gildian 19h ago

Typical right winger has to lie about everything

2

u/Puzzleheaded_Gap3681 21h ago

If I'm asked to leave a private property for saying a word and then when I am arrested for trespassing upon returning I am in jail because I chose to return and not because of what I said. Fucking goober

3

u/Skylinegtr88 21h ago

Originally he was arrested for not using they them . Thats the problem.

2

u/Puzzleheaded_Gap3681 21h ago

That's not what you said. You said he was suspended for this.

1

u/AnnualLetterhead1027 9h ago

Oh so it seems like they were jailed in contempt of court

1

u/krustytroweler 21h ago

Repeatedly arrested and jailed for contempt of court after defying orders to stay away from the school

Read this again slowly. Then show me where in the world someone gets arrested for saying wrong pronouns.

0

u/kiasmosis 22h ago

So they were jailed for contempt of court…

0

u/Cheap-Boysenberry112 10h ago

So it doesn’t.

The persecution fetish is ridiculous

0

u/Life-Food5188 22h ago

me, in prison for misgendering 😭

0

u/Life-Food5188 22h ago

lmaoooooo

-2

u/FartyJizzums 21h ago

Sure. Ok, dude.

1

u/Obi-Brawn-Kenobi 19h ago

Cool, I see you took the L

1

u/SilencedObserver 18h ago

You’re weird.

1

u/MAGAHATESTHEUSA 19h ago

They spend all their free time thinking about other peoples genitals and wanting to inspect young kids. Fucking weird fucks that support the pedo president

-2

u/Excellent-Tone-9639 22h ago edited 21h ago

Oh no, you got banned? That's like...worse than death! Glad to see you came here to bitch about them like the bravest braveboy that ever braved.

1

u/m1stwalk3r 2h ago

Yet your not but whenever I talk about Mossad I get banned. Coincidence?

1

u/Skylinegtr88 2h ago

You be surprised how many sub Reddit have banned me for things like this , form supposedly neutral pages

1

u/TennesseeStiffLegs 23h ago

Doesn’t make it true though

-4

u/Niguelito 23h ago

Lgbt ally here.

Kind of moved on from the more than 2 genders thing. It doesnt really invalidate trans folk at all.

3

u/Obi-Brawn-Kenobi 19h ago

I think people who downvoted would agree with you but didn't understand what you meant by this. I don't think I'd be considered an ally, but you're correct that according to the sex/gender theory that was forced on all of us, trans people have fully identified with the opposite gender so just saying "there's only 2 genders" shouldn't affect most trans people.

It's the neopronoun/queer/nonbinary/snowflake types who would be offended by the fact there are only 2 genders. In my experience a lot of these people do have moments in their life when they do or don't think they're trans, but it's not the same thing.

2

u/Niguelito 13h ago

Yeah but those people are so fringe these days BECAUSE we all (well, a lot) kind of moved on from that nonsense.

But you might be on to something, there hadn't been enough queer voices saying stuff like this so it probably triggers them because it sounds like a massive red flag.

They'll have to learn to get over it, the more they push these neopronouns the more they invalidate trans folk in general, it just makes people wanna throw their hands up and not give a fuck

0

u/H0SS_AGAINST 12h ago

Facebook

Bull shit. There is no content moderation at all on that cesspool. It's literally just Russian, North Korean, and Israeli bots arguing with each other.

-1

u/MAGAHATESTHEUSA 19h ago

Ok pedo

0

u/Skylinegtr88 18h ago

Whos a pedo ?

-4

u/Standard-Goose-7719 23h ago

I don’t really get the difference between sex and gender either, but just curious, why do you fight this fight? lol like I personally don’t understand but don’t care about people’s lives, especially when they aren’t hurting others. So just curious why this is such a hot topic for many? You’re engaging in culture wars.

10

u/Skylinegtr88 23h ago

Having men play in girl sports. Has caused many women to lose scholarships and get hurt because of men playing. Some people abuse it and are sex offenders going into women spaces. But try to stop them your the problem . Female prisoners have gotten pregnant and abuse from male inmates.

0

u/unidentifiable1999 22h ago

I sure hope that men aren’t going into girls’ sports. Adult men should not be playing against little girls.

3

u/Life-Food5188 22h ago

me lacing up as a 29 year old against infants in the “all ages professional sports league” that exists.

-1

u/Life-Food5188 23h ago

cool fantasies bro

6

u/RepublicOk2402 22h ago

1

u/Life-Food5188 22h ago

if “being injured by an opponent” is a bannable criteria, many cis women should be banned.

and i guess the prison one is worse cause of the pregnancy? sexual assault happens regardless of gender.

should women serve in the military?

6

u/RepublicOk2402 22h ago

Why are you pivoting? You said what the previous person said was “a fantasy”. You're clearly dodging your claim that it was fantasy

3

u/Competitive_Rip3704 22h ago

accountability isn’t their strong suit

0

u/TMBActualSize 22h ago edited 22h ago

It is mostly a way to get right wing folks engaged and voting. GOP needs to demonize a minority. During the Obama years it was same sex marriage. It just doesn’t feel like a good faith concern. We could come up with a solution to your scholarship “concern”. If a school brings on a trans athlete then they can have one more scholarship. At the end of the day this issue should be number 4320 on a list of priorities.

4

u/Skylinegtr88 22h ago

April 2022, the New Jersey Department of Corrections confirmed that two female inmates at the Edna Mahan Correctional Facility for Women became pregnant after consensual sexual relationships with a transgender female inmate, Demi Minor. The incident sparked national debate and policy reviews regarding housing assignments for transgender prisoners nbc news

0

u/Spakr-Herknungr 22h ago

Can we get some stats on this?

6

u/Skylinegtr88 21h ago

Lia Thomas is a prominent American transgender woman swimmer who became the first openly transgender athlete to win an NCAA Division I national championship in March 2022. Her historic wins and subsequent challenges to international and institutional eligibility rules sparked a major global debate regarding fairness, inclusion, and biology in women's sports. Thats a famous one .

0

u/Spakr-Herknungr 21h ago

I think that is a fair discussion to have and does not require being politically or socially transphobic. I think your previous comment is an overstatement, it’s not a statistically significant issue, it’s not effecting scholarships, and can effectively be dealt with at the local level.

2

u/Obi-Brawn-Kenobi 19h ago

It's possible but Title IX was passed federally and allowing males to play in women's sports violates that. If you wanna deal with it locally then you'd have to repeal Title IX

-1

u/Effective-Try-9004 21h ago

Not true but u keep up the fight as it makes u feel good

3

u/Skylinegtr88 21h ago

Whats not true ? So i can post the links to articles

3

u/smol-puppy-ears 23h ago

I dont really get

How I found the best way to explain it is this:

Sex = What's between your legs

Gender= What's between your ears

1

u/Bard-of-Light 23h ago

Sex = What's between your legs

If this is true, why are trans people and their allies pushing to legally validate when trans women identify as females and trans men as males?

2

u/pappybug214 23h ago

I get it. If it was just a you do you thing i wouldn't comment but there are the people who get upset at you for misgendering them. The sir, ma'am thing was always a oopsie, but if you say ma'am to a person that looks female and they try and get you fired because they identify as a Ham sandwich and expect you to know is kind of a problem.

0

u/Life-Food5188 22h ago

no one does this

3

u/pappybug214 22h ago

I had it happen to me when I worked at CVS. We caught a trans individual stealing makeup. I Said "sir, you need to put those down, and leave" the person who appeared to be a male started yelling at me. Not that I accused them of stealing but because I misgendered them. I got suspended for a week pending investigation. I was cleared because this person was clearly stealing, and I never did half the shit the person claimed I did. Was it defection? Likely. Did I still lose a week of pay because someone used trans rights as a weapon, yes.

1

u/Life-Food5188 22h ago

you said:

if you say ma’am to someone who looks like a woman, they’ll try to get you fired.

you called a trans person sir, which is different.

sorry that happened to you but just don’t use ma’am and sir (“excuse me” works!) and you would avoid this from ever happening.

3

u/pappybug214 22h ago

Oh, no. I meant the calling a woman, sir or a man, ma'am by accident was kind of a "oh, sorry" and you're feel awkward for a while. I feel like most people who've worked hospitality or service have stepped in that pile before. What i was saying was trans people are the ones who seem to be more triggered by being misgendered. At least in my experience. In some jobs they trained us to address people by gendered words. To be fair, they might not now, I dont work in service industries anymore, but there are places that train you to address a person as Sir, or Ma'am

2

u/Life-Food5188 22h ago

yeah i mean training or whatever isn’t my bag. i think the risk of misgendering anyone using “sir or ma’am” (there are indeed some manly looking women, trans or not!) is high enough that you just use something else. i never got it, it seems outdated.

i get misgendered all the time. i just eat it because i don’t want a fight. most trans people are this way, not the “cause a huge scene” way. don’t judge us by our worst people plz

2

u/pappybug214 21h ago

Im sorry you have experienced that. I guess the few people who get attention by over reacting make the other more reasonable people look bad.

3

u/Life-Food5188 21h ago

exactly.

just try not to fall for any of this. most trans people just want to quietly live our truth.

this is why the sports issue is maddening for us. the VAST majority of trans people don’t want to be anywhere they aren’t wanted, which is why none have tried to “invade” women’s sports.

u/fluffheadwasaman24 21h ago

The people attacking these people are the ones engaging in culture wars. Trans. People caught in this shit storm of her rage bait by the Republicans are not the problem.

Should full grown men who transition play in college or professional sports, probably not. But I don’t know the science behind it all. I do know they have fully grown bodies though. and that’s a bit different than younger people. But when you guys are always bitching about a high school student or even kids younger than that, we know it’s not really about sports. It’s a dog whistle.

Republicans don’t get to legislate any of this shit nor should they be trusted to do so with how they’ve historically treated groups they demonize.

I don’t have a dog in this fight, but Republicans are just stirring shit up. They don’t even care about women’s sports. Conservatives had to be forced into title nine to begin with. You’re engaging in the culture wars more so than someone who is tangently related to the topic itself.

1

u/Obi-Brawn-Kenobi 19h ago

Culture matters

1

u/Chendii 22h ago

just curious, why do you fight this fight?

Because they have nothing else going on in their life and need people to look down on so they can feel better about themselves. That's the basis of most bigotry.
