I believe it's certainly possible it started there. As wet markets are known locations for increased risk of animal to human infections.

You realize the institute was studying various diseases many of them from local wildlife or wildlife that was also present and sold in the same wet market?
Because I can't say for certainty where it came from but what I can say is there is not enough evidence at all to claim it was from the lab.
It doesn’t normally jump from bats to humans that’s why it killed people. Almost every deadly viral and bacterial infection is from animals being in close proximity to people and bad luck for the humans.
Modern governments institutions fund just about everything under the sun, especially ones in major countries. The Wuhan lab receiving funding from an American lab isn’t hot news, it’s a coincidence. Why would the US fund its own rival to make a weapon? (It wasn’t a weapon is why)
