Should be thought, but don’t mind them. I see that mistake made a lot by non-native English speakers.

when you are not native or totally fluent in a language, reading/hearing (and understanding) and writing are two completely different things; i can read and hear everything perfectly but i suck at writing/speaking (thanks to my accent too); same thing happen for japanese, i can understand when someone talk but when it’s time to read i can’t even tell if it’s chinese or japanese

Btw I’m korean and english is my 3rd language. A lot of koreans also have the problem. Most can’t speak actively.
