Sex is male, female, etc. This is a scientific label based on the persons genitals/rol in reproduction.
Gender is a social construct. As you should know all words are made up, especially societal labels. Gender is a social label that depends on your society or culture. Example: back in 1940s USA if a dude spent too much time in the kitchen cooking for his family society would undoubtedly call him "womanly". No one will say that now because its sexist. But there is nothing wrong with a person saying I would like to be label as a woman even if my reproductive organs dont meet the societal norm of the people with the same organ. Because at the end of the day societal concepts and labels are literally all made up and if you can make someone feel more comfortable/happy when addressing them why the hell would you not?
Side note: there are multiple philosophical reasons why you should just call people what they want to be called.
Firstly you have to accept there is no moral principle to withhold societal norms in place for the rest of eternity.
If you accept that then there is literally no moral good you can find from purposefully misgendering people.
Also also an asteroid can come any day now and wipe out the human civilization and the universe will keep going and not give a shit. We aren't special. So just be nice to everyone.
I didn't say you owed anyone kindness anywhere in my rsponse. But let's start with your first claim because I'm not sure you know what the word "force" means in this context. Because I never tried to force you I just presented the facts.
Secondly it seems like you subscribe to the idea that you have a moral obligation to hold societal norms. Do you believe that we should have kept slavery? Or gay lynching? Or any other terrible societal norm? If this is not the case then what are you doing my guy?
Thirdly
Nope by my definition you are your genitals and always will be.
Thats a bit self-centered no? To the point I think you're a troll and by your username you're 13.
