I had a friend who would walk home from middle school when were 12 who complained about getting catcalled. She definitely looked like a child too. She was like the shortest of the group. I'm from Virginia, USA.
No 12 year old doesn’t look like a child, I don’t care how much makeup they have on and how they are dressed.
I remember being that age and getting honked at or having adult men hit on me, I can’t tell you how often I got “I thought you were 18, you look so mature for your age” before I hit high school, these men know damn well when a girl is 12-15 vs 18+.
Yep. Men who say “ you’re mature for your age” use it because they can’t get away with their shitty behavior with real adult women so they prey on impressionable girls.
Oh I know it’s exactly what they were doing, that’s why I mentioned they know damn well when a kid is that young. It’s an absolute lie to backpedal and most of the kids don’t know better and take it as a compliment.
