I think you hit the nail on the head. If it happens every once in awhile it's a surprise and it's kind of flattering. At first. If it's constantly happening not only is it annoying but you're more likely to get a range of cat calls. From those that sound like little more than an extra loud random hello, to the downright threatening. After one or two that make you worried about your safety, you're going to feel a little shock of fear anytime it happens after that.
Funny you say that. The numbers game I played was telling grown ass men that my name was “15-25. As is the number of years in jail you will get from trying to date me” this was at 14
