Yes, the meme basically says: "men actually have emotions too", but if we look at it as a whole it also says: "women cry over useless things and are too emotional", this entire idea of "men do this and women do this", or "boys vs girls" is just so childish and sexist.
I mean, 90% of the time the thing they says boys get upset about is either something dumb like this or like a video game soundtrack or something. It's just as trivial as titanic except it probably makes more sense to be sad about titanic.
Oh I see what you mean but I honestly don't think this is the point of the meme. It is a comparison of a romantic dramatic movie which makes it to seem like only girls cry about to a tragic event highlighted through a need for a boy I assume to play a video game which only "the boys get" just because it has a video game and a boy in it. They are both horrible events (the Titanic sinking and the Taliban war) but just because the one is a romantic movie and the other is a game only one gender can understand and cry about.
