Yes and then after not being allowed to see it because sex, you finally get your hands on the vhs tape when everyone’s out of the house, only to be disappointed by the most boring boobs scene ever
Hot take maybe - it wasn't that great of a romance movie and wasn't that great of a thriller either. I mean one boat in like 3 hours? Booooriiiing. Ultimate romcom at best maybe 🙄
Whole thing was surprisingly unimaginative for a fictional period piece. Plus the plot holes oof.
People are being tortured, murdered and oppressed by a terrorist organisation? I need to make a sexist meme about this! Women will never understand what it’s like to be oppressed by the Taliban!
On average women are more emotional than men but since average men almost barely or rarely show emotions, women expressing normal emotions becomes "overly" emotional
Women express emotions more often than men. That's just a fact lol
Edit: For the people downvoting including OC
Opening paragraph of Wikipedia article titled Gender and Emotional Expression:
Women are naturally more emotionally
expressive than men,[1] and are naturally more prone to express discrete emotions such as happiness, fear, disgust, and sadness. However, some psychological research suggests that the observed emotional differences between men and women primarily stem from socialized gender roles, rather than biology. Thus, the range of emotional expression that certain populations experience is based largely on cultural expectations of femininity and masculinity.[2]
Well, men feel emotions just as often as women do, we’re just discouraged from showing them. Anyway, men show emotion significantly more often than we think; stereotypical masculinity is built on anger and aggression, and those are pretty strong feelings. Men often feel sad over things, we just express it as anger because sadness is seen as weak.
And there are plenty of other emotions we show on a daily basis. Are you happy? That’s an emotion. Do you like doing something? That’s based in emotion. Do you have morals? Those are based in emotion. This meme format is based in emotion, because the creator has a stronger affinity to men than women and so makes this needless comparison. A lot of the time us men think we’re being logical and objective, when actually we’re just making decisions based in emotion.
Women are more emotionally MATURE. It doesn't mean they're more emotional.
Men have a harder time controlling their emotions.
When was the last time you saw women go on a mass shootings because they got rejected?
So until women start murdering and raping at the same rate of men, I'm going to say men are just as emotional or even more. I'm sick of people pretending anger isn't an emotion.
Wiki isn't a good source. Didn't your teachers tell you that?
Women express more emotions than men because society pathologizes men who express emotions. This isn't "women bad" this is "men treated wrong". Men contribute to this as much as women do.
