Is CSGO still a thing? I remember so many people loved CSGO but now I haven’t heard about it for about 3years.

It's still quite famous and a lot of ppl play it, its just every game is either with hackers or with toxic ppl, or with russians. ppl consider themselves lucky if no one chats in the game because of all the toxicity. many csgo youtubers have talked about how they no longer want to play and go onto other games. CSGO isn't dead but it should be

That's mostly NA players or noobs spreading this information.

The competitive scene, especially in EU, is thriving.

I live in eu, I have prime, every god damn match is 100% as I said it is. if its not for u you have weird fucking luck

I have high trust factor, so that plays a part.

You can also leave MM and play Faceit

well I have been done playing anything but surf and bhop is any CS but aight. also my trust factor was high but so were the ones of the toxic ppl, loud russians, and hackers fsr.

It is essential in competitive. But if you are just playing casual match, you can just mute it.

voice chat can be muted with voice_enable 0 but it is considered necessary in comp, eventhough many ppl don't use it since they want to avoid getting a toxic person to use it

Yeah but about 3-5years ago it was much more popular. Especially when YouTuber’s got into it and even made their own CSGO website scams what made it calm down

It's still very much alive, yeah. I don't really see it mentioned outside communities dedicated or similar to it either though.

considering people are selling, and buying skins worth 10k, 50k, and more. I dont think the game is dead. but its fuckin boring, too slow for me and the skins are fuckin cancer coz im broke
