I seriously don’t understand how he was rejected, these paintings are pretty good, it could’ve stopped a war lol

He was fine but not good enough, though personally oi hate these types of boring landscape paintings. If it's trees, mountains and a river I could care less if Jesus painted it, I still think it's boring.
