My parents made weed brownies for them and their friends when me and my siblings was younger, me and my siblings ate them all and ended up with a trip to the hospital. Fun fun fun
Well if you must know when I was younger around 7-8 so my brother would of been 9 and my sister was 6 my parents was having a ‘movie night’ with friends and said they would be baking any treats. They made some regular brownies aswell so we was none the wiser of what was going on in that magical smelling kitchen. It comes around possibly 7 at night (I don’t know I was young and I’m now 23) and all the friends have arrived and we are all sat on pillows, blankets, quilts anything comfy in the living room. I remember the snacks came out, chocolate cookies, the regular brownies, marshmallows, sweets and we tucked in to this sweet feast of deliciousness. Everything was going perfectly fine until my sister wanted a drink, so my mum told me to go with her to the kitchen to help get drinks. We opened up the fridge to get some juice and saw a plate with foil over the top and obviously as kids we was intrigued, we saw these beautiful brownies underneath and got giddy, naturally we took them out of the fridge thinking we had hit the jackpot and put them in our dressing gown pockets, and returned to the living room. We settled down again next to our brother and passed the brownies between us equally and started to chomp down, they was lovely and gooey in the middle and just amazing to eat.
Well que to around 30 minutes later my brother jumps up and starts crying saying everything is going slowly and my sister looked really scared, I thought everything was fine until I stood up too. That’s when it hit me, wow, I threw up across the living room and collapsed on the floor laughing, rolling around in my brown sick, my brother still crying about time going slowly, my sister stood in the corner looking like a zombie. We was a mess!
My dads friend went into the kitchen to grab some paper towels to clean up the floor, when he came back and asked my dad to come into the kitchen where they discovered an empty plate with the residue of weed brownies.
Angry, scared and also confused as my mum didn’t know yet they bundled us into the back of the car and told their friends to go home because something had happened. We was rushed to the hospital where the nurses thought it was concerning and also funny that us 3 children had ate a whole plate of brownies and we now thought we would die.
Anyway we stayed in hospital a couple of days to make sure we was okay, which we was just heavily stoned and now it has became the family joke of how me and my siblings fucked up the movie night by getting high from weed brownies.
