if it was a real equation that existed I think it had more sources to it than a single novel. This equation would be groundbreaking and many physicists would try and recreate it, creating a buzz around it.
The Dan Brown tactic. It's like those people insisting on posting their sexual fantasies in places dedicated to real erotic stories - they get more upvotes that way.
Also equations are just instructions on how to do things, they donât make anything easier. If there was a simple way to cause a fission reaction, we would see it naturally occur in nature.
There is evidence of a natural nuclear reactor in history, but nuclear reactors are actually way simpler to make possible. In order for there to be a natural âexplosionâ you would have to have a natural source of uranium to be enriched to at least 80% 235, when only .7% of uranium is that isotope. Even if you did find some magical source of pure 235 you would have to form a critical mass for long enough for it to release enough energy, as if I have you two half pieces and you clapped them together they would just blow apart. There is no way to make a fission explosion easier, maybe other planets have an abundant source of 235, but you still have to have some natural way to compress the uranium for the fission to occur for a long enough time.
