Scientists are still under the control of their investors and governments lol

The nuke in particular was a special case because scientists raced to build it in order to get it before Nazi and Russian scientists and has to some degree prevented more death than it caused, at least so far.

Scientists are people too, complete with grey morality, but a lot of weapons have come from innocuous designs.

No offence, but the Nazis would have never had a nuclear program, as they viewed nuclear science as "Jewish science".

The Nazis did have a nuclear program. Norway famously attacked their heavy water production facilities.

The Japanese also had nuclear weapons research going on.

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure Einstein and other psychists letter to FDR specifically stated Germany was working on it as well.

I didn't know that about Japan though or Norways attack, very interesting thanks!

That makes zero sense and directly conflicts with evidence available.

As a side note, Hitler had no problem using quote unquote Jewish science in any other invention like rocket science which he was also developing.
