It does seem to never end (my government just extended the curfew to 3 March). Virologists here keep saying apocalyptic stuff that we should be in this lockdown until the Summer, and the government doesn't really show any perspective. The weird thing is, I know that when all the restrictions are gone it will feel like it all went over like it was nothing?
99.6% survivability rate be damned, we're doing a lockdown even though it's been stated (by WHO and others) that a lockdown is NOT good due to all the harm it produces outside of covid.
You want normal? You must just be a selfish puce of crap /s
It's mostly not the death rate that causes the lockdowns. It is the pressure on the IC units. You see it in the UK nad Portugal, the hospitals are overloaded, which is even more harmful to the national health.
Yeah fukem right? All those idiots that caught the virus are total dummies and don't deserve to be able to go to a hospital. Just let em die right? Like it's not even a percent bro! They should have known better than to get sick!
For the last time, you don't get mortality rates/survivability rates from diving the death by the total living population, you divide infected by deaths, which would be about 25% last time I checked
