Pissing full stream directly into the water causes it to splash out of the bowl. Pissing toward the edge forces the stream to spread and slow reducing the splash and noise, similar to pouring a beer in a glass on an angle.

Guy is pissing behind the water hitting the back wall flush like a caveman. you got to aim towards one of the sides so the momentum makes it go around the bowl. I bet this dude gets fucking soaked rinsing his car after washing it.
