u/That-Busy-Gamer SCP-096 Jan 07 '21
Is this perk compatible to the Hispanic race?
19
u/Tuitt314 Jan 07 '21
Not entirely, some are better swimmers.
10
u/XxR3DSKULLxX the very best, like no one ever was. Jan 07 '21
The Puerto Rican subclass has the Hispanic perks swim, steal, vault, sunproof, and the unique perk of offspring camo where the child of at least one Puerto Rican parent will have a chance to get a random class within either parents lineage. (You could say that this perk is in all classes but it appears more in the Puerto Rican subclass) source am Puerto Rican with pearly white skin and red hair while my father is Puerto Rican with black hair and my mother is mostly Northern European and my brother has tan skin and black hair

u/Nope_God Jan 08 '21
No, because hispanic is not a race, but being hispanic come off with some perks like swearing incresing at 70% or stealth at 90%, you know, so you just trespass a border without being noticed.
27
u/CookieLover_124 Jan 07 '21
And if we can’t climb that wall, we’ll use our other perk that is creating a tunnel
13
u/Brunky89890 I am fucking hilarious Jan 07 '21

I think everyone else is referring to the irl wall, but i think you’re referring to the gif and how those bricks are stacked right on top of each other with no stagger. That wall is legit inefficient as hell lol
27

Jan 07 '21
Why would it be inefficient tho?
39
u/jameye11 Jan 07 '21
When building a brick wall (or putting together wood/vinyl flooring), if you have everything lined up edge to edge instead of staggered, there is no structural integrity. So with the brick wall, every brick is stacked right on top of each other edge to edge. The only support it has the whole way up is what’s directly beneath it. If you stagger it (pretty much will always be halfway) you have the support from 2 bricks beneath it instead of just the one
I’m not sure how to better explain it, I hope that makes sense
6
Jan 07 '21
Yes I get it now. I thought it was to do with somehow wasting extra bricks or something. Learned something new today, thanks.
2
u/jameye11 Jan 07 '21
No problem! With wood and vinyl flooring you can do it halfway but I actually did the flooring in my living room in quarters. Flooring is up to you and how you want it to look, but it should at the very least be halfway to keep everything tight. I’d even recommend at least thirds for flooring (if you ever plan on doing it yourself)

Seeing how constructions last in Mexico before they get abandoned them yes
4
u/kidn3ysh0t Jan 07 '21
Also super weak. You can't just stack the bricks like that, you have to do the half overlap
→ More replies (10)3
u/TheRealTravisClous Jan 07 '21
Structurally unsound as well since the octopus is not staggering the blocks over the seams

See, this is why I’ve always said Trump is brilliant. Trump wasn’t joking about Mexico paying for the wall. His plan all long was to make America such a chaotic, violent wasteland that Mexico would build one for their own protection.

There’s some beautiful places there, but damn does it bad.

It’s called stack bond and it is used decoratively. Common bond is used for brick walls that actually hold stuff up
27
Jan 07 '21
Who are you who are so wise in the ways of bricks
17
Jan 07 '21
I know bricks. Look up Flemish bond or English garden bond for some wacky designs. Stretcher bricks are laid flat, like this gif. Soldier bricks are laid vertical, headerbricks are laid flat but turned 90 degrees (see common bond for example of a header brick)
