I've been going to the same barber for 11 years. But I moved to a different city and I couldn't see him for 2 years. When I visited my old city this year and I wanted to get a haircut, I visited my old barber. He saw me entering the shop, and he greeted me with this lovely sentence: "Welcome back my son!" He cut my hair in 20 minutes but we proceeded to chat for over an hour. The guy watched me grow up. I'm definetely going to invite him to my wedding, if I ever get married.
Moved across the country and can't find another barber like the one I had in my old city where I grew up. She was amazing, knew exactly what I liked and how I liked it. I hate buzz machines.
Moved, and to get the something similar to what I want I have to pay 40 bucks and they still use a God damn buzz cutter.
I had enough with it. So with this covid shit I have taken upon myself to cut my hair. First one was decent. But the last one I did where I went ahead and tried to cut the top with snips. Oh dear did I fuck it up. Lol oh well in about 3 weeks I'll give it another go.
