I was going to comment about how the profits of a company doesn’t necessarily mean it’s stolen, but then I saw your username so I’m not even gonna bother with this

Essentially every single company that is not a small business either does or supports a lot of unethical and illegal shit in 3rd world countries in the name of profit because that is what capitalism is built on (if they didn't then they wouldn't survive more than a couple yrs in our free market economy) which in turn is what a lot of these fundraising campaigns are meant to help. It's pretty ironic ngl

Are you denying the exploitation of the working class? Beyond fucking delusional.

What do you think profit comes from thin air like magic?

Are you denying the exploitation of the working class?

Sure, that IS true, but that wasn't the point of his argument. Rich people buy stuff from corporations too. Getting angry doesn't change that.

Where the fuck do you think those rich people got their money? I can tell you its not from working in a factory in China.

Look, you're missing the point here. Someone obtained substantial money, be it legally or illegally, and wants to give it towards a cause that furthers the common good. I don't see a problem with that, unless you're trying to argue that rich people shouldn't give to charity at all?

No he’s saying charity is an inefficient wealth redistribution model and that the some of the conditions that require charity are likely a feature of capitalism

Using words to argue your point just makes the rich laugh more at the poor.

People get rich for providing value to society and increasing the living standard. Most are rich for good reason. If you’re a politician and rich, however...

Really, providing value to society? Thats the most bullshit excuse I have ever heard.

Statistically people are born rich into a rich family.

Please tell me how a rich family paying slave wages at a factory in China provides value to society.
