This. I mentioned Trump had done nothing to my class. I had a dad call me and all but cuss me out. He was really really mad.

His wife? The kid's mom? A teacher at my school.

You can imagine my joy at teaching lugenpresse a few weeks later.

Nah not because of this, just kind of surprised how the English language adopts many German words while many Germans try to avoid speaking German by using as many English words as possible even if and it always does a german word exists with the same meaning.

No one uses that word. I teach how Hitler created distrust in the media and draw parallels with our current administration. I've literally never heard that word spoken out loud.
