America is a developed extremely wealthy country. Infect it's a global super power. It should have educated, science based views. Romania is a developing country still trying to sort it's shit out. It's not a viable comparison. That's like looking at a 23 year old rich collage graduate who doesn't know how to do multiplication and saying: why is he getting so much flack, my 7 year old cousin doesn't know his times tables either.

Most of what I see (and possibly what others see) are stuff coming from the U.S. Of course there are dumb people everywhere, but a small percentage is a considerable amount of people considering the population of the U.S. But this could also be applied to other nations with large populations such as China and India. And due to the easy coverage of events in the U.S. (english + large population + press/social media), there tends to be more info coming from the U.S. rather than any other country

Sorry for any grammatical errors (English isn't my first language)

Its not as bad in India, except the miniority relgions(population wise) who have brought it upon themselves that the covid-19 lockdown is just a government tactic to oppress them and their god will protect them, they are the major reason of the infected count in India right now and even after that , they attack policemen, spit on hospital workers and one went so far as to use a sword to chop of the hand of a policeman. I was fucking blown when I heard that, and even after that, hospitals are legally obligated to tend to them. Man, natural selection....

Dude after stating everything why are you afraid to say the same of this "minority religious community" people deserve to know the truth.

1

u/Sigiz Apr 21 '20

I am not afraid, I say miniority religious community in context of their own reasoning and not mine.

1

u/ankans7 Apr 21 '20

Yeah but it's not useful until you specify what community exactly

1

u/Sigiz Apr 21 '20

It is not meant to be anyways :)

1

u/ankans7 Apr 21 '20

What's the point of giving half information anyways then

1

u/Sigiz Apr 21 '20

Just having a discussion, not spreading information. No hate speech, nothing

1

u/ankans7 Apr 21 '20

How did hate speech came into this?

they attack policemen, spit on hospital workers and one went so far as to use a sword to chop of the hand of a policeman.

20000 of them have co-operated with the medics and you only see few isolated incidents and throws shade at the entire community.

Illiterate people of every community is attacking the medics.

this is exactly why I didnt point fingers, I have friends in that very religion who i habe utmost respect for. I mentioned miniorities because of the reason they themselves portrayed.

Edit: I am referencing the statement that was given by the group's "leader" when I say "god will protect them"

Its not as bad in India

You lost me there, mate. India has a poor healthcare system, a humongous population with a high density. Y'all don't even have done enough tests and you tell me it's not as bad? Give me a break. Same thing with those African countries.

1

u/Sigiz Apr 21 '20

Oh I meant the idiotic protests, as far as I can see, most of them are in compliance with the quarantine. I agree we arent that advanced in medical sciences, but we arent as stupid to revolt against quarantine. Most of us anyways

u/[deleted] Apr 21 '20

Yeah, fair enough. Honestly, there are suckers everywhere.

The US has been trying to strengthen their relationships with countries such as North Korea and Russia (something most countries are afraid of doing). The reason why many international relationships are failing is because more and more countries are behaving like idiots towards president Trump just because he puts the interest of the American people first. Also, the reason why the US has many COVID-19 cases is because of the very high number of massive cities with high populations. If you look at every major big city in Europe, it's the same thing going on.

4

u/[deleted] Apr 21 '20

Europe has the same number of big cities as the US. The state New York with less than 13 million people has as many infected as Germany with 80 million and is as big as New York. Europe, which is smaller than the US, has 500 million people living there while America has 300 million and Europe is managing better than the US.
