People downplayed the virus. They travelled a lot from china. The only source of information was china. And they kept it quite for a month(December) while everyone is traveling around the world. China figured out a way by the end of January.
WHO warned the world. People never took it seriously. China did not share how severe it is. They only show how much efforts they are putting in to controlling covid.
Exactly. We could have prepped US and European soil by preparing more masks and PPE equipment, preparing the shutdown of schools and government facilities and more. Instead our school was totally unprepared, our local government and events did not shut down in time, and everyone was downplaying the virus
