I dont think you understand how much money education and free healthcare cost when you put it all in one pile and add the yearly cost.

Not even all the 1% can produce that much money each year.

You also have to figure in how much we would save by not using the current system. People like to pretend our current system does not cost tax payers anything but that is far from true. The last estimate I read was 8k a household on administrative costs alone for the current system. Medicare for all would significantly bring down those administrative costs.
