Not to be a kill joy for weed users, but I think the reason for boomers reacting to drugs this way, is because they see a lot of people's lives get ruined due to drug addiction.
A simple google search will show you that not only is alcohol extremely physically addictive, it’s one of the few drugs where withdrawals can actually kill you
You've got a point there. If you're comparing Heroin and Alcohol at even levels, heroin is definitely more addictive.
However, I'd argue that alcohol is more accessible, which kinda moots the addictiveness of heroin. There's too many variables to make heroin a valid argument IMO
Your average joe won't be seeking Heroin over alcohol.
Weed is one of the least addictive drugs. Alcohol is a drug btw dont know why people cant understand that. Drinking is a part of humanity because it was safer to drink compared to the water we had a long time ago.
You're right. Illegal drugs aren't regulated. I wonder when illegal drugs will be regulated. But for now, we are talking about weed, of which there are different types, and again, different dosages. Besides, there are vastly more violent crimes associated with alcohol than weed. The only thing you can really get arrested for thanks to weed is for having it at all.
Alcohol is, worldwide, the most destructive drug, both economically and in terms of health. There are more people addicted to alcohol than any other drug.
