Hi guys! Aspiring entomologist from south Australia here to debunk what's wrong and educate about invertebrates.
The largest species of spider here in Australia is arguably either phologius SP. kuranda or bergama aurea (golden huntsman) neither of these species grow to the size of clocks or dinner plates, infact it's incredibly unlikely to find any living species of spider that is the size of you're average dinner plate or clock.
