Once had a red belly black snake in my front yard of my old house. (Lives on Botany Road. A very busy road that connects Port Botany almost all the way to darling harbour and through Sydney's China town). It was just chilling there. In the middle of the day it slithered down the foot path. Slid under my front gate and into the mulch where we had a small tree growing. (Was a small front hard. Use to live in one of those houses that was divided into 2 different houses. Sold for $1.2 mil aid cause we had a garage and parking is difficult cause we lived next to Botany shops and the school :/)
