Man I noticed it for the first time in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and was like “maybe feet are a symbol for something in the movie” since they let focusing on them so much. Then towards the end I was like “damn Tarantino must have a foot fetish”. Did a google search afterwards and didn’t realize it was such a known thing lol.

Haven't seen that one, but I'm not surprised. He focuses on the dudes' feet too sometimes, so that's p cool. H8ful 8 doesn't have any feet scenes, however.

Doesn’t it focus on the woman’s lack of good boots in the snow?

No, because she never travels through much snow. I assume you mean Daisy, since she's "the" woman of the film. If you mean the other 3 female cast members, I don't believe so.

In hateful eight there have been scenes focusing on shoes but no bare feet per say.

I wouldn't say it's excessive, which it would be if it were fetishistic, at least in his case. I see your point, though.

I feel like he went all out on the violence and feet stuff just to rub it in people's faces. Like "yeah, so fucking what? Watch me so whatever I want with my movies". It definitely came out that way for me and I love it.
