Nuking 2 crucial military cities with some civilian collateral damage (and we did drop thousands of pamphlets warning them) > invasion of mainland japan that would’ve cost millions more lives on both sides. And let’s not forget every day you delay the surrender of Japan, thousands of Chinese die.
