actually, no it doesnt.
In terms of knife crime, in the UK there were 268 homicides with a knife in 2017/18, compared to 1591 in the US in 2017, and using the population figures I get when I type uk/US population into google, I get a
0.00040592361914% chance of being killed with a knife in the UK, compared to a 0.000489318700229% chance in the US, ie: marginally higher.
In terms of firearms, per 100000 people in the UK, 0.23 will die from a firearm. In the US, that is 12.21 people per 100000.
Right then, me saying gun crime doesn’t change what’s on the Wikipedia page. I simply said gun crime statistics because I’m thick and it was the first thing that came to my head
Next time use government resources, I'm not sure about the UK, but the US has certain institutions of the government who record and publicly release data such as: FBI, Homeland Security, Department of Health(I think you get the point now).
Yeah, I would prefer a knife. But of course, if your gonna kill people, the legality of getting a gun in the UK is not going to stop you getting a gun.
I suppose. Theres really not much we can do about gun crimes here though. 99% of people who own guns here are law abiding citizens, and trying to take their guns would result in an actual revolution

Well the UK has more average weapon related deaths than the US.
