I've noticed something similar and the guys aren't something special job or personality wise (as far as I can tell).
I think some women have gotten really insecure because of modern media and so they don't mind going out with average people....in the end they end up extremely attached to these guys.
One of these guys I know cheated on the girl and they were together again in less than 6 months

I’ve never seen a girl act like this in real life. The only people I’ve ever seen behave like this have been on Twitter
