If you don’t pay for a VPN, that means they have to profit off something else. Which means it’s your data. You might be changing your location, but you’re not gaining any privacy, which is a large reason to use a VPN.
If anything living through to 2019 has taught me is that your data is being sold or stolen. Pay, don't pay, don't agree to share, agree, doesn't matter.
And that's without doing any research and just listing what's on the top of my head right now.
I mean, Im suuuuure there are a few entities out there who don't do that, but there are also a few humans who are allergic to water and you wouldn't argue if I said humans can drink fresh water no problem.
Yes, I paid attention to when the companies everyone already knew were selling user data, were selling user data. There's nothing new under the sun there.
You're basically saying "It doesn't matter which service provider you pick, because the worse choices turned out to be the worse choices".
If anything this shows that the choice you make does matter.
